EASIER FOR SHEEP OX BEEF IN DEMAND. (P«r Pres* Association.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. At the Westlield sale to-day there was a good yarding of beef. There was little or no change in ox beef, but cow and heifer beef was easier. Extra choice ox sold at 32s per 1001 b, choice and prime 28s to 31s, just killable 25s to®27s, prime young cow and heifer beef 25s to 275, just killable 20s to 245. Sheep.—A large yarding, prices being easier, especially for ewes. Well finished wethers sold under keen competition and were only slightly lower. An extra choice pen of wethers made 265. heavy prime 22s to 245, medium 20s 6d to 21s 6d, heavy prime ewes ISs, lighter 15s to 17s 6d. Lambs.—An average yarding sold under keen competition. Heavy prime lambs made 245, medium 19s to 22s 6d, light 15s to 17s 6d. Calves.—A very large yarding, prices being considerably easier, especially for light calves, which were very dull of sale. Runners made £3 12s to £4 18s, heavy vealers £2 10s to £4 ss, medium £3 to £3 ss, light £2 to £2 Bs. Pigs.—A fair yarding, prices being about on a par with last week. Choppers made £3 to £3 10s, heavy baeoners £3 13s to £3 18s, medium baeoners £3 9s £3 12s, light baeoners £3 5s to £3 Bs, heavy porkers £2 19s to £3 3s, medium porkers £2 13s to £2 17s, light porkers £2 4s to £2 Ils.
