BODY IN A POOL
WHANGAREI FATALITY SELF-INFLICTED INJURIES (Per Press WHANGAREI, Dec. 8. At the adjourned inquest on Thomas Forsyth, whose body was found submerged in a pool above the Whangarei Falls on November 30, a verdict was returned that the deceased came by his death from shock, primarily due to the. condition of his heart and through injuries self-inflicted while in a state of unsound mind. The medical evidence suggested that deceased attempted to hang himself, but the rope broke, the fall resulting in injuries to his head. He then went to the stream to get a drink of water and expired. •
