TAKING THE TWO OCEANS SIXTY MILES IN ONE PICTURE. A MODERN RECONNAISANCE. Received December 8, 7.15 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 7. Photographers with the Army Air Corps photographed the Canal Zone in one picture from an altitude of 1200 feet, covering a distance of 60 miles, including fortified islands on the Pacific side and portions of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. This is the first time the two major oceans have been partially photographed together.
