SHOOTING
WANGANUI DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOOT. On Saturday the members of the D<*» fence Rifle Club fired their fourth for the championships series, which also counted for a trophy donated to iinj Club by Air T. L. Hammond. It was won by Rfl. H. Hughes, who scored ' I at 500 yards, which gave him ‘he trophy, although there were three oth«T .68s. The weather was good and there was la good attendance.
