DTJiNEDIN, November 8. Captain Ritchie, of the ship Looh Garve, was charged to-day with a breach of the Shippisg and Seamens Act in proceeding to eea without a certificated second mate. After the case had been argued hie Worship reserved his decision. For the defence, among -various contentions set up was that while provision •was made in the act as regards seamen, this did not apply to officers. In the Divorce Court to-day decrees nisi were granted in the following cases: —Marion Tyson v. James Melton Tyson, Mairy Jane Boyd Wilson v. Thomas Bryc© Wilson, John Cleary v. Gertrude iCleary. In Hairold Herbert Eaton v. Mts Eaton, a petition for restitution of conjugal rights a decree was granted.
