Those in want of timber, scantling, iron, doors, sashes, and such like should not miss tbo "apportunity of attending the auction sale on the Racecourse to-day, at 2 o'clock. This timber is all in good order, and as the Show is coming off next week, it must be sohi to mako room.
All advocates of State control of the liquor traffic should read the column next the leader in this issue. The matter is dealt with there, and should aftord food for thought to those who really think the plan worth trying. New'- boots! Yos, you'll Heed new boots to complete your costume for the Show.
