THE PREMIER AND THE LOCAL LIBERAL CANDIDATES.
The Right Hon. the Premier passed through Aramoho on his way to the ■North yesterday" afternoon. Messrs Willis, Gatenby, -Hogan, and Williams met him (presumably by arrangement), and a conference was ]JtJd on the station platform. Mr T. B. Williams, in answer to a question put to him iat the conclusion of his address at Eastown last evening, stated that the conference had proved abortive, and they .'had not been able to come to any arrangement.
