In the Cup Race, Blue Spec, who wass. ridden by Bullock (son of a Victorian?, constable), in the Tod Sloan style, came* with a brilliant run at the finish and. soon settled the pretensions of Scot. Freo and Tartan, who were fighting foxr supremacy before the West Australians appeared on th>a scene. Results:— Hurdles.—Florio 1, Adjuster 2, Neglect 3. Six others started. Betting r 2 to 1 Florin.
