' Elections for the return of -members of the Borough Council, Waitotara Cciinty Council, and Patea County Council take place to-day. - •For tho Borough Council, Messrs. J. C. Riohardson, C. E. Mackay, F. Harkness, and H. J. Turner have been nominated.' ; For the Waitotara County the following have been nominated:—Brunswick Riding (three vacancies): Arthur S. Burgess,- Clifford li. Bridge, Gregory Mullins, William H. Mann, Angus Mackintosh, William Ritchie, Edward Tir;gey, John Thomas Walker. Tokomaru Riding (two vacancies): John Ashwell, John Barnes, James Dempsey, Harry W. Hole, Frederick Webb Jones, Thomas MMa,r Scott, F. C.Saphir. Waitotara Riding (three vacancies): Charles E. Billinghurst, Samuel Geo. Handley, William Morrison, Donald Ross, Charles Gorton Russell.
