.AUCKLAND, November 6. . A man named Charles Thomson, aged 27 years of age, was found dead at Howick with a gunshot wound in the head." Papers in his pockets showed that he contemplated suicide. DU'NEDIN, November 6. Thomas (Martin, 70 years of age, living -with his wife and family in High Street, Was found hanging in a sihed today. Deceased hnd (been somewhat st-range of late, and was closely watched, 'but while in the shed for a few minutes he evidently committed suicide. OHRISTCHURCH, November 6. An inquest was held this morning touching the death of a six-ononths-ola child named Evelyn Wilkinson, who was found dead in 'bed at ite parents' house at Sydenham on Sunday morning. A verdict was returned that death was due to suffocation, <caused by the child being overlain by its parents.
