MILITIAMEN SHOT BY THE
POLICE
RED CROSS FIRED UPON
Received November 6, 11.45 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, November 6. Many Jewish women at Odessa were disembowelled.
The populace in the lowest quarters attacked the students, many of whom wero saved by the citizens and the Militia',-b^ the policemen, seizing the Militia/men's revolvers, shot all the .Militiamen, leaving a free field for the hooligans".
The police fired on the Red Cross in order to prevent them assisting the wounded. They also helped them in robbing the dead.
