WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS
The Westminster Glee and Concert Party, whose concerts are announced to take place at the Opera House tomorrow night and Wednesday, is representative of the .original body which officiated at the Coronation of King Edward VII. in Westmtinster on August 9th, 1902, and was selected toy the organiser, Mr Edward Bransoombe, not only for their excellence^ as solo vocalists of assured position in Egland, but noted for that perfection of blend, sympathy, 'and expression in ensemble singdng, which is so difficult to attain or find, and which stamps the singeis not ciily as 'cultivated musicians, but as men of electric taste, polish, and refinement.
"This party have, since their organisation, delighted enormous audiences in ■all parts of the world, and hay© ts;Tioe their last visit to New Zealand achieved fresh triumphs in SoutJh Africa, India, Burmah, and the Far East. Those who took advantage of hearing this Company two years ago w' 1 be delighted to learn that they acre returning to submit to 'them a new repertoire of madrigals, glees, part-songs, and old English 'ballads. This musical oomlbination comprise past members of the West-minster Abbey Choir, and solo soprano boys from the Co ege for Choristers, supplemented by w»Aknowm solo artists.
