Received Novemiber 5, '4.22 p.m. LONDON, November 4. The Bkuckheaith match wa^.one of the fixtures of the tour posseeslng an unusual of interest, the club ho'd-^ ing a prominent place amongst, English combinations. To-day's team was exceptionally powerful, >and included no fewer than eight InternationaiL players. The spectators numbered 15,000, arid were given an excellent opportunity of judging the New Zealanders' merits, as they were playing in their top form. The visitors quite outpaced their opponents, <and finished with the convincing record of 32 points to nil. The weather was fine, ibut dull.

Getting to work right from the kickoff, the iNew Zealamders made a cyclonic attlack, Wallace (Wellington) scoring a try within two minutes of the start, vand (has shlot at gaol added the major points. He followed up this success by placing a penalty goal to his credit, and iin quick succession twice more crossed tihe line; 'but both, attempts to convert failed. Before halftime (MeGtregor (Wellington) secured a further try, and the kick at goal being again unavailing tihe spell ended—'New Zealand 17, Rlaek'heath 0. ■Scoring was hardly so fast in the second half, though the Maorilianders kept the local team steadily on the defence, continuously pressing them. The first to cross the line was Glasgow (Taranaki), and Wallace converted. McGregor and Stead (Southland) each added a try, and in bot(h instances Wallace put tihe leatiher between the posts. Time was called "with the score —New Zealand 32, Blackheath 0.

(Memo.) The Premier has received the following cable:—" iNew Zealand beat Blackhe'ath 32 to mi!.,..

There was a great gathering of New Zealanders present, cheering the team.
