NEW YORK, November 4

Mrs Broadwiick, a parachutist, ascended in a balloon with her husband at Columbia, Souifch Carolina. She signalled her hudband to cut the parachute rope. Owing to some mistake she was clinging to the ropes beitween the balloon and the parachute. She fell 250 feet, and was killed in the presence of 1000 spectators.
