The weakly official review .pS tne> progress of the New ZeaLand International Exhibition Mates t'hait the date of the laying of the foundation Stone of tihe Exhibition is definitely fixed for Anniversary Day, December 18th. It was decided that the Band Contest should commence on. February 11th, 1907, and continue for the six days ending February 16tfo, 1907. . The sum of £700 will be given in prize money, and will be distributed in -the following manner: — Grand Selection Competition, six prizes, tihe first being £150. Quickstep Competition, five prizes, first being £50. Solo competitions for various instruments, special side drum contest, and quartettes and trombone trios competitions.
At the instance of the . Technical Pcienoa Committee a circular has. been I i-epared and will "be issued immediately to all interested, in technical science, inviting exhibits dealing with matters relating to training in and practising of the application of science to any form cf labour.or -manufacture or any other pursuit/
