All entries to be sealed and ad dressed to the Secretary, Cheltenham with the name and age at the time o entry, name of owner, pedigree, col ours of the rider, and performances o tho horse. 2. Entries by telegram must be con firmed in writing at the earliest- oppor tunity. 3. Any owner failing to declare hi colours at the time of entry will Ik fined 1 soy., unless they are register ed 4. All races to be run under th< Rules of Racing as adopted by tin Racing Conference of New Zealand. 5. The committee reserve the righi to alter the date or time for declaration of weights, nominations, or ac ceptances as they may deem fit. 6. Hack means a horse that has no< won at the time of entry a race of the value of 80 soys., or'races of the collective value of 200 soys., since August Ist, 1899. 7. In entering horses owners are particularly reminded that the name, oi assumed name of the owner must be given. 8. There are a limited number of tree horses boxes to be obtained on application to the Secretary. 9. Bookmakers will be allowed on the ground at a fee of £5 each, payment to bo made in advance. F. C.
