Baddeley, Forlong, and Co. are receiving entries for their horse fair, which is to be held on the 18th November, two days after the Wanganui Show. . . ■ Business men should make a point ot carefully reading the column next the leader in to-day's issue. There is a business proposition there which will be of. interest to them, and should not be missed. To-morrow at noon Messrs. Wiiliamfe and Harper hold their usual Saturday sale, and amongst the specials are 8 partly worn English saddles, just imported from Home. At 2 o'clock furnituro of every description will be sold. Tho dates of the Wellington wool sales are ; no w.; announced -in our advertising columns.
