United Press Association.—Copyright
Received November 1, 1.4 a.m. SYDNEY, October 31
"With reference to the statement that, owing to the Commonwealth legislation against Asiatics, Australian goods were to be boycotted by China similarly to the American, the Chinese Merchants' Association in Sydney disclaim any attempt in such a direction. On their part they also communicated with the associations in China, with a view to frustrating the initiation of a boycott, at least until the Federal Government had been asked to concede the Chinese the same privileges as are extended to the Japanese.
