Thursday, the 9tih November, trill be ■observed as a iholiday. All mails will be «dlosed on Ttarsdiay at 6 a.m. The Post Office ■will be open on Wednesday, November 8, from 7 to 8 p.m., "for delivery of correspondence only. The telegraph branch will observe the -usual holiday hours of attendance, viz., '^from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. ~to midnight; from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telegrams may be banded dn at public counter; from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and after 8 p.m. messages may be presented at telegram 'window at head of stairs in Ridgway "Street entrance.

The Telephone Exchange will be open -as usual.
