SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES.
WANGANUI DISTRICT VOTES
WELLINGTON, October 30. The Supplementary Estimates for the Wanganui district provide for a £10 addition to the landing waiter's salary; £1960 to roads in the Wanganui road district, as under—Ameku Ridge (Waimarino), £60; Mangaono to Mat area (Rangitikei); £200 Middle road (Waimarino); £100, Papakai (Rangitikei); £100, Taihape to Mataroa (Rangitikei and Wanganui); £200, Taihape to Otuaroi. (Rangitikei); £400, Toreri (£1 for £1); £100, Torere township to TaihapeMangaweka road; £100, Wairano; £150, Wangaehu River road (Wanganui); £200, Makakaho (Upper Waitotara) (Patea); £150, Puao; £200, purchase of native lands, roading Ohotu ■and other blocks; £100 compensation to workers injured on road work on the Ohotu Block.
