Messrs. Guinness and LeCren, Ltd., Waiinate, report for the week ending October 25, as follows, all quotations being f.o.b. Timaru, sacks included:— Wheat.—There is a good inquiry for all lots of good-conditioned grain, but medium quality is difficult to dispose of," except at fowl's wheat prices. We quota prime milling 3s 4d, good whole fowl's wheat 2s lid, broken 2s 8d to 2s 9d. Oats.—Offerings are now almost nil, so very little business is doing at present. We quote prime short feed 2s 2d, good do. 2s Id, prime Danish 2s Id, good do. 2s.
