Telegraph and Post Office closes at 5 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No horse shall be eligible to start which has won a race of the value of 80 soys., or races of the collective value of 200 soys., at the time of nomination. Vide Rule 44, Rules of Racing. Owners are reminded that the name or assumed name of the owner or owners must bo given in every entry. The winner of any flat race, after declaration of weights, to carry 10 lbs. extra, and eTery additional race 7 lbs. extra in all flat races, and the winner of any hurdle race 10 lbs. extra in the hurdles. ._ Ail nominations must include description, age, pedigree, colours of rider, and namo of owner; horses in all cases to carry the said colours, and also numbered saddle cloth provided by the club. All nominations, with the necessary amount in cash, must be in the hands of the secretary at advertised time. Post marks will not be recognised on any pretext whateTer. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. No entry will be receded for any race except on the distinct condition that any and all claims, disputes, and objections which may arise in connection with the racing shall be settled by the Stewards or who they may appoint; such decision to be final A.
