Also started: Bounce, Makuri, Kaimoe. Waitoti, and Kingsborough. Won by a length and a half, a r-.eck between second and third. Dividends, £4 Bs. and £1 9s. Flying Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs.— Aberration 1, Captain Shannon 2, First VieAV 3. Also started: Gawain, Red Cross. Won by three lengths. Dividend, £3 15s. Maiden Hack Race, seven furlongs.— Dulcinea 1, Rosegrove 2, Pytchley 3. Also started: Steel Run, NarroAV Escape, Grand Circle, Alexieff* Moloch, Silken-Rein, Rifle, and Rifle.Maid. Won by three lengths. Dividends. £3 15s. and £1 16s. Masterton Cup, H miles.—Flamen 1. Submarine 2, Royal Blue 3. Also started : Ngatarua, Whakawehi, Hydrant, Spoil. Won easily by three lengths.
