Messrs. 'Baddtley, Forlong, and Co report as follows : —

- We held our Wanganui and Waverley sales on the 25th and 27th October, respectively. At Wanganui we had a full yarding of cattle and a small yarding of sheep. Bidding for fat cattle and sheep was brisk, and the demand for young cattle was somewhat stronger than at last sales. At Waverley a good y&rding of catt'o came forward.

At Wanganui.—Cattle: Prime fat cows £6 Kis to £6 18s 6d, others to £<3 5s mixed yearlings 26s to 355, 2year steors £3 2s, 3-year steers (poor) £3 11s, others £3 18s, 18-month to 2year steers £2 10s to £3 17s 6d, forward steais £5 to £5 ss, fat bullocks £6 -ss, heifers in calf £3 17s |kl, empty heifers £2 8s to £2 11s, run cows in caif £2 10s, forward empty cows £3 2s, cows in milk £4 15s 6d. Sheep: Hoggets 15s 2d, prime fat ewes 23s lOd, others 235, fat wethers 255. Pigs: Weaners 7s 4d to 11s 9d, stores 14s to 14s 6d, porkers 25s to 28s 6d, light porkers 20s to 23s 6d. Afc Waverley.-^-Mixed Yearlings 22s to 2£s, 15-month steers 35s 6d to £2, forward cows £3 15s, run cows in calf £2 10s, empty ditto £1 18s to £2 ss, springing heifers £4 10s.
