An Australian who travelled through by express yesterday mentioned to one of our representatives how pleased he was to note through these columns how great was the interest being taken m the horse classes, but deplored that no such class had been arranged for a buck jumping competition. Our representative mildly remarked that pur live committee had made all arrangements for the inclusion of this item, and should "theman from the other side" be still in town when the next issue of this paper appears in print it will afford nim some food, for thought that, aa in football in the Old Country, so •wo can give away a few wrinkles to our Australian cousins, on the principle that "you cannot teach your grandmother how to suck eggs.'
