No horse shall be eligible to start which has won a race of ~the Talue of 80 sots., or races of the collective Talue of 200 sots., at "the time of nomination. Vide Rule 44, Rules of Racing. Owners are reminded that the name or assumed name of the owner or owners must be given in every entry. The winner of any flat race, after declaration of weights, to carry 10 lbs. extra, and eTery additional race 7 lbs. extra in all flat races, and the winner of any hurdle race 10 lbs. extra in the hurdles. All nominations must include "description, age, pedigree, colours of rider, and name of owner; horses in all cases to ca,rry the said colours, and also numbered saddle cloth provided by the club. AH nominations, with the necessary amount in cash, must be in the hands of the secretary at adTertised time. Post marks will not be recognised on any pretext whatever. All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. No entry will be received for any race except on the distinct condition that any and all claims, disputes, and objections which may arise in connection with the racing shall be settled by the Stewards ov who they may appoint; such decision to.be final A.
