The Czar's audience with Sir Charles Hardinge prior to the lattor starting on leave was markedly cordial. The audience was much commented on as being connected with the projected Anglo-Russian understanding.
LONDON, October 25
Count Benckendorff, the Russian Ambassador in London, is going to St.. Petersburg-to continue his pourparlers.
