36,000 WORKERS THROWN IDLE
Received October 25, 10.56 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, October 25. The stoppage of the Nikolai railway deprives St. Petersburg daily of 70 trainloads of provisions. Seven thousand Moscow strikers damaged the St. Petersburg Railway, and also the aqueducts supplying a portion of Moscow with water.
Massed and armed workmen wore demonstrating at Karkoff when cavalry dispersed them. The disturbances were accompanied by looting, which 'has also occurred aifc" Ekaterinoslav.
Fresh reform strikes have thrown idle 36,000 workers in Lodz and Pabiance.
