BUSINESS NOTES.

To-day, at one o'clock, Mr J. H. Keesing will sell frh© furniture and effects at Mi* Dyer's residence in Guyton Street. As Mr Dyer is leaving Wanganui the whole will be sold. The catalogue is a comprehensive and attractive one, as our readers will observe on reading the advertisement in our auction columns.

In tho "Wanted" columns this morning, Messrs. Young and Collins havo some very interesting notes about dog goods. These goods, which are rather unique, have been specially imported for the Agricultural Show. They comprise many novelties, such as dog whips, dog couples for connecting dogs together, dog whistles and leads. The latter can be attached to the wrist, and keeps the animals in check. Dog chains, combs, etc. There are also to bo seen some very handsome dog coats in a variety of colours and sizes, dog bolls, and also dog soaps, a special preparation for cleansing the dog's hair and skin. Dog collars are showing in great variety, from the modest rough and ready collar, at 6d. and Is., to tha beautifully beaded collar at ss. 6d. Messrs. Young and Collins cordially invite inspection of these lines, which are undoubtedly novelties of theii» kind, and quite new to Wanganui.
