The 'Government Avances to Settlers Bill was put through its final stages. The debate was .resumed on the Workers' Dwellings; Bill, and the second reading agreed to, and the Bill referred to a Select'Cojnmittee, with instructions to. report -on-Tuesday. The jCouncii adjourned at 9.50 p.m. .till Monday afternoon.
