Hhe Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Workers' Dwellings, Government .Advances to Settlers, Timber and Flax ..Royalties, Waikato Branch Railway Bilks were read a first time. The Taumutu Native Commonage Bill -and the Native Townships Local Government Bills were read a second time pro forma and referred to the Native Affairs Committee. A batch of local Bills was read a first ;time. The Hutt Railway and Road Improvement Bill was read a second time. The Education Reserves Bill and the John Mueller Enabling Bill were put through all stages and passed un..aimended. The Lincoln College Reserves Bill was put through Committee stage with an -amendment to the title. The debate on the second reading ot •*he Medical Practitioners Registration JBill was adjourned. The Council rose at 4.55 p.m.
