WELLINGTON TRAINING NOTES.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 19. The weather was salm and clear for training operations this morning. Signalman and Cannio Chiel, working separately, did half to three-quarter pace work. Ghoorka and Exmoor covered seven furlongs in 1 mm. 36 sees., Ghoorka finishing in front. Kirrie* mmf ran fast over five furlongs. Gold Crown was in front of Flamen at the end of a seven-furlong gallop, run in 1 mm. 38£ sees. Achilles was only given gentle exercise. Marguerite and Cantor left four furlongs behind in 56 sees. Boris and Grand Poplar slipped over five furlongs in 1 mm. 7 sees. Sir Tristram moved round the course at an easy pace and sprinted home. St. Claimer was -54 sees, older at the end of a four-furlong sprint, and St. Joe saw the end of seven furlongs in 1 mm. 36£ sees. Starshoot and Gazeley finished together over half a mile in 55 sees., and Mahutonga. with Auratus, ran home from the seven furlong post in 1 mm. 37 sees. A number of othe* horses did easy work
