Mr Arnold Forster, speaking at Croyden, said he was able to prophecy with certainty that tih© army tturee years hence would be on 1a better footing than for years as regards armament, artillery, training, manning', cavalry, and the strength of the reserve stores and equipment. Be sometimes feared noitihing would bring the nation to a sensible state of mmd (regarding the Army but a tremendous defeat.
