The A and B class series of live matches (best three matches to count) for trophies with Morris-tubes, fired by the members of the above corps at 'JOG and 500 yards ranges, which terminated on Saturday, 30th ultimo, under sealed handicaps, resulted as follows :—
In addition to the trophies for the highest .scorer in each class, the company have allotted three cash prizes in each class as follows:—10s. second, ss. third, and ss. fourth. Those members chosen to practice loij tho Palmerston North meeting on tha 91 h of November, are requested to note that shooting days are Thursdays and Saturdays, and they are expected to roll up in full force.
