WELLINGTON, October 17. Drizzling rain foil early this morning and made the track at the Hutt a, trifle greasy for training operations. Kaiuku and .Kudu Avent onco round, finishing the last four furlongs in 52 sees. Gold Crown and Flamen ran six -furlongs from a flying start in <a trifle under 1 mm. 10 sees. Signalman and Cannio Chiel put in a good serviceable gallop. Hydrant, Shrapnel Shell, Togos, and Petticoat Avere sent on short journeys. Mahutonga was only given gentle exercise. Other horses that did steady work wero Black Reynard, Ballarat, Zimmerman, Golden Gate, Black Squall, Boris, and Exmoor. Achilles was not given any work.
