Heavy ram has fallen in the north and north-west. There are three inches in the Tweed River district. There are useful falls in the remainder of the State and Southern Queensland. . The rain will" do an:'immense amount of good. It came just in,time to save large areas of the. n^h^at- crop, which threatened to be a. failure.
