A CORRECTION.
To the Editor. Sir, —I beg to correct a mistake which occurs in my letter of yesterday. It should read: "Look at Ashburton. The rateable values in the borough during the years 1902-3 were £46,713. This total was whilo the hotels, clubs, etc., were licensed. Now, note the difference. Under No-license for the years 1904-5, £449,042—a clear £2,32<) improvement in properties, etc." Apologising to readers for my error.— ] am* etc., FACTS
