South .Biitish Insurance sold up to 107s 6d, and Standard Insurance up to 17s lid. .Several fair sized lots are changing .Itands at this figure. Transactions were also reported m X.0.8. Timber and K.T.C. contribut.ing shares, while coal stocks had steady .inquiry at late rates. Bank of New Zealand sold at 1265, --and Nationals at 114s. In spite of the fact that the dividend of 2s per share was payable by rho Waiotahi Company this week, shares in :ihat mine declined in value.
