BLENHEIM, October 15. The total for the 24th week of the ..■New Zealand Kgg-Jaying Competition is .2493, -bringing tno grand total up to 41,129. The 'weekly average per pen stands at 24.93. The highest laying for jfclie week ris 34, which was returned by -six perns (aill local entries, and all White iLeghoirns). The order of merit in the aggregate is as follows, the first three pens being White Leghorns: —Legar (of iLevin) 695, Brooks (of South Australia) 641, 'Marlborough A. and P. Association 580, Hockey's Brown Leghorns .<from Nelson) fourth with 571. There ...are .100 hens in the 'broody depart..ment.
