CHRISTOHURCH, October 14. At the annual meeting of th© New Zealand Cricket Association, held on Saturday riight, th© sub-committee appointed to draw up a report on the. proposed visit >of the OEngHsh team recommended that the best time would be the season of 1906-7. The team to arrive about December in that year and to ibe amateur or nearly so, and that arrangements, should be made for insuring fixed minimum gate takings. It was estimated that the cost of th© visit would be £2250. Consideration of the report was deferred until the next meeting, -on October 28th.
