The schooner Cli-o, from Auckland, reports a rough passage in crossing th^ Bay of Plenty. Her sails were blown a\v;v and she made Hicks' Bay in a crippled condition, where H.M.S. Penguin rendered assistance in restoring the damage. During the gale, oil and coal tar were used to quieten the seas with good effoct. Xiie boat bears traces ol heavy usage by the gale.—"Times." The Ruapehu is to leave Wellington for London -at daylight to-day. The following members of the crew of the wrecked barque ■ Northern Monarch will leave lior London to-day by the Ruapehu :—Apprentices Abbot, Gilmore, Bath, Nicholas. Garasworthy; steward, J. Watson; carpenter, llooney. Two other members of the crew.- W. Horbon (cook) and Evans (first mate) proceeded bo Sydney yesterday by the Moerakt. The Tyser steamer Star of Australia, now loading for London, is due at Wellington on Monday from Napier. She will sail at "the end of the week for Wangantii. The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Gothic, which sailed from Wellington on October 15 for London, arrived at Plymouth on Wednesday last.
