SCOTCH CONCERT.
_ Sit. Paul's Hall was filled to overflowing last evening, when the annual Scotch concert under the auspices of St. Paul's Choir took place. An excellent programme was rendered and much appreciated, several items being encored. The following was the programme—Piano solo, Fantasia on "The Auld House" and "The Cock o' the North" (Oury), Miss Lily Harris; vocal duet, "The Crooked Bawbeei," Miss Byres arid Mr J. Aitken. (encored); song, "Douglas Gordon" (Kellie), Miss . Jacobs; recitation, "Edinburgh after Flodden" (Aytoun), Mrs Duff; song, "The March of the Cameron Men," Mr C. Jensen; song, "Spring," Miss McCaul; song, Mr T. B. Strong; vocal quartette, "Hail to the Chief," Misses Byres and Blair and Messrs W. Thomson and T. B. Strong (encored1 ■ violin solo, "Robin Adair" (Volti) Miss S- McFadyen (encored); vocal duet, "Aftqn Water," Mrs T. B. Strong and Miss Blair; song, "The Banks d 1 Loch Lomond,"'Miss Roberts (encored); humorous reading, "Sandy Bowdem, the Potato .Merchant, and his Horse," Mr James Aitken; song, "The Bonnie Braes of Craigelea," Miss M. Byres; song, "The Barrin' o' the Door," Mrs T. B. Strong (encored); humorous recitation, Mr G. Potvnall; song, "Annie Laurie," Mr Brownlee (encored) j chorus, "Auld Lang Syne," St. Paul's Choir. Messrs Wajt^r Impett arid J. K. Manning acted as- accompanists.
