I Wanganui, October <t. / ' During the week the produce market I has beon duller than usual, local demands I boing below tho average. Quotations at present may be considered nominal for tho bulk of the lines enumerated, Oats.— 3s 3d to 3s 6d for best sample seed ; milling (good feed), 3s ; ordinary do, 2s 9d to 3s. Wheat. — Sellers reserves remain at 3s 9d to 4s for prime samples j other lines, 3s Gd to 3s 9d, according to quality, without demand. Barley. — 3s 3d to 3s 6d is asked for best qualities seed and milling ; 2s 9d to 3s 3d for lines of ordinary feed. Cha3?p. — Oaten sheaf , £3 10s with firm niarkots, supplies in the immediate district being nearly exhausted ; straw do., j62 10s to £-2 15s. ' , Bran. — £A ; pollard, £o, continues without alteration. Potatoes. — This line may be .considered a ti-iflo easier for medium qualities, prime seed fully maintaining former quotations.
