Of Musket it is needless to write ; Ms sons, Martini-Henri, Trenton, Nordenfeldfc, Matchlock, and a ecore of others epeafc hit fame. Fanny Fisher, the dam of Torpedo, is by that great Englieh horse Fisherman, out of Coquette, and dsscends on her sire's side f r m twoSt. Leger winners. Ooquettealso has a strain of the same blood through Sheet Anchor. When we read that Svlria, the dam oi Martini-Henri, is by Ifisb irman, and Onyx * dam of Mbrdenfeldt, is by a von of Fbhet man, it will be seen how closely Torpedo is related to these celebrities. All Fanny Fieher'B stock, viz, — Sings fisher, Hippocampus, Isaac Walton, Piioa*; torious, Fiehworaan, Fisbgirl, and Torpedo, J have won races over all distances, and tho first four-named hare all sired winners. M* J Walters' two colts by Torpedo are most pro* mising. Torpedo, by his build and breed ■ is qualified to get both raoehorsea and cross-country stock, for whioh there is a steady demand. Good paddocks provided at York Fawn for mares till stinted, when notice will be given, after wbieh 2s per week will be charged.
