"lOLANTHE."
TO THE EDITOE. 1 Sib, — With regard to the performance of " lokntha" last night, I should be obliged if you will allow me to say that though I have had the training of the stage work up to the last few days, we have heartily to thank M.t Wanklyn for the finishing touches. He kindly undertook (at the request of the com* mittee, on my motion), to give up from Friday onwards to this, I fear; rather thankless task. The programmes were panted too soon to indioate thereon our indebtedness to him. — I am, &o , Geobge Allen.
