Notice is hereby given thai; it is the intention of this Council to raise £500 by way of loan under the provisions of 11 Tho Local Bodies Loans Act," for expenditure in the Waikupa Subdivision, for the following purposes ;- 1, For the purpose of forming and gravelling a new road, com* mencing at that point where the Waikupa road joins with the Okoia road, and continuing at intervals fov a distance of about 400 chains to the boundary gate between the properties of Mr J. N. Jones and G-regor MoLeod, at which point tho proposed new road will terminate, and the erection of tho necessary culverts on the work. 2, The sum proposed to be borrowed for such nurpose is £500. 3, It is proposed to levy a special rate of 10-lCths (ten-sixteenths) of one penny in the £ for 26 years, for the purpose of providing the repayment of the above loan on the above subdivision.
