The weatber broke in the afternoon and cons tinued fine throughout the remainder of the day, but in consequence of the rain which fell during the morning the course was rather heavy. The steeplechase oourse was very wet, and in some places the horses had great difficulty in keeping their footing. Won easily. Beadsman, Kildare, and Yankee Grab came to grief. Time 6min 18sec.
