COLLEGIATE SCHOOL v. MARTON
On Saturday last the College eleven drove to Martou in Mr Smiley's brake and played the local club. There was nothing remarkable about the match, except the very bad fielding of the Col* lege boys, who certainly should pay more attention to this part of the game. There i£ no excuse for any college eleven fielding badly, even should they be weak in bowling. Now that the boys have a good ground it is to be hoped that they will keep up their hitherto all round good play. A return match with Macton will take place io Wanganui about the end of November.
