MB FBEEMAN B. JACKSON'S POETNIGHTLY STOCK EEPOBT. . Wednesday, June 27. The rites for stook sinoo my last have still a downward tendency, with little immediate pros-,-pe^t of improvement. Fat sheep are not worth more than they were at shearing, or, at any rate, in the month of Maroh. Ewes in lamb aro saleable at reduced rates, with hardly any inquiry for stores. I placed nearly all the stook that passed through the vards at the quotations below, which are in all cases in favour of the purchaser. ''Ca TLB— *t Kakaramea a limited number or cattle came forward : 3-year-old steers, _4 13s 6d. At St: Hill-street to-day, 154 head made up the sals: Fat bullocks, L7j Cows, L* ISs and 16 5s ; 2-jear-old steers, L2 Ids; mixed heifers snd steers. Ll 10s; heifers, Ll 15s ; cows, L2. Sheep— At — akaramea-1500 were panned and sold: ewes iu lamb, 8s 6d to 10s 64; old ewes, 6s f!d. At the yards to-day 855 were offered : Fat sheep; lis; good forward wethers, 9s j ewes in _— b. 10s.
