Case .adjourned by consent to the 7th of ' September. — Wanganui H eads Railway Company v. James Kelly. No appearance -of defendant. -Mr Barnicoat for the plaintiff. Judgment for ' £3 3s 6d, calls and interest, with 7s costs. — J. P. Belcher v. Edwin Bright, claim for 108. .'"Mr Hutchison for the plaintiff, Mr Bavnicout for the defendant. The claim was in respect of hire of a threshing machine and labour employed inthreshing thirteen stacks of wheat on Mr James Durie's property at "Waitotara, "which was undertaken by. the plaintiff at the request of and as ageut for the defendant. The defendant considered the charge excessive! and had tendered £8 iu settlement, which plaintiff refused to take.'
